Year 2006 is yet another gaining year in recent memory for many Canadian investors. Energy, gold, resources once again took the front pages of finanical newspapers and magazines, despite the killing dose for income trust on the Halloween day 2006. The horrific events of September 11, the tech bubble, the accounting scandals, are all the things of past. Both TSX and Dow Jones shrugged off the dust of miserable past and stand on the new grounds of record high.
